DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS is the #1 MOVIE in the country and is a huge hit with audiences! We know we've brought in a good one when we hear just as many laughs from the grown ups on the lot, as we hear from the kids. This movie has it all - DC superheroes, big laughs, fun action, and of course, super-cute super-pets! The comedy rapport between Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart never disappoints. AND, we're bringing in two classic co-features this week. The original WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (1971) starring Gene Wilder has never played on the big screen at the Midway, but it will this week! And THE GOONIES is a favorite that we've played many times, but it always makes folks happy. (Since we have played THE GOONIES a few times in the past few years, it will be the third feature on the weekend only.) We've got one more Fisher Price DC SUPER-PETS action figure to give away on Saturday night (Merton the spinning turtle), and we'll also be giving away Wonka bars! Don't miss this historic, fun-filled show. Not to mention, the meteor showers are providing a secondary show in the sky. The rural location of the Midway makes it an ideal place for stargazing. Come catch the stars this week!
