Playing September 20 - 22
Which movie will prevail as box office champion this weekend? The reigning blockbuster BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE, or newcomer power-hitter TRANSFORMERS ONE? You don't have to pick one to root for, because we've got them BOTH on a monumental double-bill!!!
Gates open at 6:30pm on Friday and Saturday, and at 7:00pm on Sunday. As always, your ticket price covers all the movies in an evening and you may enter and exit at the times of your choosing. Showtimes are the earliest a feature will start, and may vary slightly. We accept cash, cards, and smartphone pay. Arrive with plenty of time to spare before showtime, to enjoy dinner from our very reasonably priced snack bar, and for shorter wait times and your preference of parking.
THE TWO BIGGEST MOVIES IN THE WORLD await you this weekend at the Midway! The brand new release TRANSFORMERS ONE promises to be a rollicking good time for all ages, and boasts an all-star voice cast including Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Buscemi, and many more. The sensational animation will be a brilliant feast for the eyes, filling up our giant screen under the stars. Early reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are at a very strong 90%. And this is the last chance to experience the movie that's grabbed hold of America's funny bone, the wild and spooky mega-hit, BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE. You can't beat this show, and you can't beat this deal!
Admission is $10 per person ages 12+, $5 per person ages 7 to 11, free for kids ages 6 & under, and $8 for military and veterans, with ID. We show rain or starshine. There is no saving of spaces, please. All vehicles must be parked within one-foot of any post, and blankets and chairs should be placed just within your space. There are two spaces between each set of posts. From our famous pizza to Hofmann hot dogs and juicy burgers from Scriba Meats, to cheese fries, mozzarella sticks, pickles and everything in between, we offer a wide-variety of delicious food and drink in our concession stand!
OUR SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH. Please secure hatches down to roof-level, to lessen obstruction of the screen for the patrons behind you. Bungee cords and ratchet straps work great for this, and we have twine available for no charge at the projection booth. The spots closest to the snack bar in rows 3, 4, and 5 are reserved for handicapped parking. PLEASE use your headlights anytime your vehicle is in gear on the lot. It's better to cause a distraction than to cause an accident.
Tune in to 87.9FM. The superior sound is through your car stereo. The soundtrack sounds terrific and you control the volume. If you prefer to sit outside we urge you to bring along your own portable radio or boombox. Our loaner radios go fast. We have them for folks whose car stereos aren't working. Unless your vehicle battery is in need of replacing, it should last fine through a movie. A quick start of the engine for a minute or two, every hour or so, might not be a bad idea if you're unsure of your battery strength. Usually, when vehicles need jumps, lights or defogger fans have been on. If you need a jump, it's no problem, no charge! Just come to the projection booth if you need any help whatsoever.
Thanks so much! |
