Kids, adults, critics, and audiences all love the spectacular HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. For its final weekend at the Midway it's paired up with the box office smash MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: THE FINAL RECKONING, the mind-blowing, action-packed conclusion to one of the most epic film franchises in Hollywood history. This is the third week that HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON has played first, so on Sunday night ONLY we're swapping the lineup for folks who can't stay up late but want to take in Syracuse-born Tom Cruise's grand finale as Ethan Hunt.
We again welcome the dedicated employees of Oswego Health this week! Please see our Facebook post or your representative for details. Sponsored by the Oswego Health Employee Fund.
Showtimes are the earliest a feature will start and may vary slightly. We accept cash, cards, and smartphone pay. Admission is $10 per person ages 12+, $5 per person ages 7 to 11, free for ages 6 & under, and $8 for military and veterans, with ID. As always, your ticket price covers all the movies in an evening, and you may enter and exit at the times of your choosing.
We show rain or starshine. There is no saving of spaces, please. All vehicles must be parked within one-foot of any post, and blankets and chairs should be placed just within your space.
Please always watch your step on the lot. We encourage you to use a phone/flash light to point at the ground while walking in the dark.
Our speed limit is 5 MPH. PLEASE watch for children and people on blankets and chairs, and please use your headlights anytime your vehicle is in gear on our lot. It's better to cause a distraction than to cause an accident.
We offer a wide-variety of delicious food and drink in our concession stand. Have dinner with us! Everything we serve is highest-quality, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced. Your support in our snack bar is the best way you can help ensure the future of the Midway, as the film studios take at least half of each ticket we sell.
Please secure hatches down to roof level, to lessen obstruction of the screen for the patrons behind you. Bungee cords and ratchet straps work great for this, and we have twine available for no charge at the projection booth. The spots closest to the snack bar in rows 3, 4, and 5 are reserved for handicapped parking.
Smoking is strongly discouraged in the front portion of the lot and near children. Smoking is permitted next to the projection booth. We encourage smokers to step away from kids to limit sidestream smoke exposure.
We broadcast the soundtrack on 87.9FM. The superior sound is through your car stereo. The soundtrack sounds terrific and you control the volume. If you prefer to sit outside we implore you to bring along your own portable radio or boombox. Our loaner radios go fast, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. We have them for folks whose car stereos aren't working. Unless your vehicle battery is in need of replacing, it should last fine through the movie. A quick start of the engine for a minute or two, every hour or so, might not be a bad idea if you're unsure of your battery strength. Usually, when vehicles need jumps, lights or defogger fans have been on. If you need a jump it's no problem, no charge! Just come to the projection booth if you need any help whatsoever.
Our sincere apologies, due to a server issue we are still unable to offer our traditional Sunday night open-captioning.
Thanks so much, and we can't wait to see YOU, here, at the Midway Drive-In Theatre! |
